Oyster Sauce Recipe


Ingredients
* 8 oz. Oysters
* 6 tbsp Butter, melted
* 1 Cup onions, chopped
* 2 Cups oyster water
* 1 tsp Thyme
* 1 tsp Oregano
* 2 tsp Basil
* 2 Garlic cloves, minced
* 2 tbsp Flour
* 1 Cup cream
* Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
1. Put 4 tbsp melted butter in skillet on medium heat. Add chopped onions and cook until onions are soft.
2. Add oysters, oyster water, thyme, oregano, basil and minced garlic and stir well.
3. In a sperate skillet, mix 2 tbsp butter and flour. Stir and cook until you have a thick mixture.
4. Add this to the oyster mix in the other skillet.
5. Cook the sauce over medium heat for 5 minutes.
6. Remove from heat and stir in the cream to the sauce.
7. Add salt and pepper to taste.
