Alfredo Chicken Recipe


Chicken Fettucine can be quite expensive at upscale restaurants, but you can make it quite easily at home for a fraction of the cost. And since you can adjust the ingredients when you cook your own, it taste better.

Ingredients
* 2-3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
* 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 1/4 cup butter
* 3/4 cup heavy cream
* 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
* salt and pepper, to taste
* 1 pound fettucine noodles

Directions
1. Heat oil in a large skillet.
2. Season chicken strips with salt and pepper. Cook on medium heat until cooked through. Set aside.
3. In a saucepan, melt the butter, then add the cream and Parmesan cheese.
4. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, but do not boil.
5. Pour alfredo sauce over chicken strips and mix well.
6. Cook fettucine in 3 quarts boiling water until tender. Drain, pour sauce and chicken strips over fettucine.
